AFP-SQ

The AFP-SQ plate satisfies the severest criteria of quality in printing corrugated board, solid board and heavy-duty bags. The surface unevenness of the printing material is compensated by the ideal shore hardness and the restoring behaviour of the AFP-SQ plate. The wide exposure latitude of the AFP-SQ plate ensures that image elements like 3% tones and isolated lines 250µm are optimally anchored even with a relief depth of 3mm (0.118"). At the same time, intermediate depths form evenly and the relief is produced with steep shoulders.

Inks and solvents |
The AFP-SQ plate is suitable for use with flexo inks based on alcohole or water. It is permissible to use solvent mixtures containing a limited amount of active solvents (ethyl acetate content-preferably under 10%). |
Storage of raw plates |
AFP-SQ plates should be stored at a room temperature of 5-25°C and relative humidity of 55%. |
Storage of used plates |
Careful cleaning of the plates after printing is recommended. Direct exposure to sunlight, heat and high concentrations of ozone should be avoided. |
